Refund and Returns Policy

1. Overview

Our refund and returns policy applies to Canadian shipments only. Due to international shipping and customs charges, we are unable to accept returns or provide refunds for non-Canadian orders.

2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

• Timeframe: Returns must be requested within 30 days of receiving your order.
• Condition: Items must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
• Exceptions: Perishable items such as Vanilla Beans, Vanilla Powder, Vanilla Caviar, and Vanilla Bean Sugar cannot be returned if they have been opened.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

• Opened Food Products: Any food items, including Vanilla Beans and Vanilla Powder, that have been opened.
• Limited Quantity or Sample Production Items: These items are non-returnable unless they are defective upon delivery.
• Sale Items: Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items cannot be refunded.

4. Return Process

1. Request Return Authorization: Email us at support@vanillabn.com with your order number, reason for return, and a contact phone number. We will provide you with a Return Authorization Code.
2. Shipping: Do not send the item back before receiving the return code. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
3. Packaging: Return items must be in their original packaging and include a receipt or proof of purchase.

5. Refunds

• Processing: Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund.
• Approved Refunds: If approved, the refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.
• Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received your refund, first check your bank account and then contact your credit card company or bank. If you still have issues, please contact us at support@vanillabn.com.

6. Exchanges

We will replace items if they are defective, damaged, expired, or unusable. To request an exchange:

• Email us: Send an email to support@vanillabn.com with details about the item and issue.
• Return the Item: Follow the same return process as outlined above.

7. Returned Orders Due to Incorrect Address

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by you, we will re-ship the order at your expense. If you choose not to have the order re-shipped, a 15% restocking fee plus the original shipping charges will apply.

8. Errors or Discrepancies with Your Order

If there is an error or discrepancy with your order, please email us within 5 calendar days of receiving your package to obtain a Return Authorization Code.

9. Shipping Returns

You are responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and will be deducted from your refund if applicable. Consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for more expensive items, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
